White Sox's Robbie Grossman on bench Wednesday for Game 1
Chicago White Sox outfielder Robbie Grossman is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against right-hander Brady Singer and the Kansas City Royals.
Grossman will sit after starting in right field and leading off the last eight games for the White Sox. Gavin Sheets will take over in right field and Dominic Fletcher will move into the leadoff spot. Eloy Jimenez will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup.
numberFire's models project Jimenez for 10.6 and Fletcher for 8.6 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox's implied total (3.67) is tied for No. 26 in the majors today.
