Astros to play next two series at Tropicana Field in Florida
The Houston Astros will play their next two series against the Texas Rangers and New York Mets at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
This decision is a result of Hurricane Harvey's impact in the Houston area. The three-game series with the Rangers begins on Tuesday while the three-game set against the Mets will start on Friday. Houston starts a 10-game road trip following the Mets' series, meaning they will be away from Minute Maid Park for 19 consecutive games. Tropicana Field is the home of the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Astros own the 2nd-best record in all of baseball and they currently rank 2nd in numberFire's MLB Team Power Rankings for the season. We give them a 19.4 percent (%) chance of winning the World Series in 2017, behind only the Los Angeles Dodgers (32.2%).
