Rays designate Corey Dickerson for assignment
The Tampa Bay Rays have designated outfielder Corey Dickerson for assignment.
What It Means:
After the team acquired C.J. Cron from the Angels, they needed to make room on the 40-man roster, and Dickerson was the guy to get shown the door. However, he should not be out of a job long, as multiple teams are already rumored to have interest.
Dickerson averaged 9.9 FanDuel points per game in 2017.
