Joey Votto (leg) lands on Reds' disabled list
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto is on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to August 16, with a right lower leg contusion.
Votto has been limited by lingering soreness in his leg since being hit by a pitch on August 4. It's unclear whether he will return when first eligible. Brandon Dixon figures to see more starts at first base in Votto's absence.
Votto is averaging 10.2 FanDuel points in 118 games this season, while slashing .288/.422/.419 with 9 home runs, 55 RBI, and 58 runs scored across 509 plate appearances.
