Bulls making Jimmy Butler (illness) a game-time decision
Chicago Bulls guard/forward Jimmy Butler (illness) is a game-time call on Monday versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Bulls play again on Tuesday night against the Washington Wizards -- one of five games on tap for Chicago this week -- so potential fatigue is likely being taken into consideration. McDermott would start if Butler can't play, but Dwyane Wade would stand to benefit the most from the absence.
Butler currently ranks second in the NBA this season, behind only Kevin Durant, with a 9.7 nERD. If he suits up tonight, our models project him for 27.0 points, 6.5 assists, 4.6 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 2.3 3-pointers versus the Thunder, making him our fourth-highest fantasy option for Monday's slate.
