Cody Zeller (quad) getting close to a return for Charlotte
Charlotte Hornets forward/center Cody Zeller (quad) is close to being ready to play again, head coach Steve Clifford hinted on Tuesday.
What It Means:
Zeller has missed the past seven contests, but it sounds like he could get back in action on Thursday against the Houston Rockets. If that's the case, Frank Kaminsky would move back to the bench, causing him to lose a sizable chunk of fantasy value.
Zeller is expected to average 10.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 blocks per game over the remainder of the season, according to numberFire's models. He's currently tied with Blake Griffin for 51st in the NBA with a 3.1 nERD this season.
