Paul Pierce's storied NBA career ends with Clippers' loss
Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul Pierce played his final NBA game on Sunday, finishing with six points on 2-of-4 shooting, one 3-pointer, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 22 minutes in the Game 7 loss for L.A.
Pierce played over 20 minutes just once during the 2016-17 regular season but exceed that number three times during the series as the Clippers leaned on the veteran more with Blake Griffin sidelined with an injury. Pierce finishes his career as a 10-time All-Star, NBA Finals MVP, and World Champion. The Truth is a shoo-in Hall-of-Famer.
Pierce averaged 19.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 1.6 three-pointers in his illustrious 19-season career.
