San Francisco adds guard Zane Beadles to its offensive line
The San Francisco 49ers signed guard Zane Beadles, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars, to a three-year, $11.75 million contract.
Beadles was released by the cap-flush Jaguars just two years into a five-year, $30 million contract. Beadles should step right into the starting lineup at left guard for San Francisco.
The 49ers already lost Alex Boone to the Minnesota Vikings in free agency, and they'll likely continue to address the offensive line the offseason, including the draft. Beadles will turn 30 in November.
