Panthers' Bryce Young (ankle) not expected to play in Week 3
Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) is not expected to play in Week 3's game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Young missed practice again on Thursday and is not expected to play on Sunday, according to the team. With Young sidelined, Andy Dalton will be under center against Seattle. Young struggled with his accuracy in Weeks 1 and 2, and the switch to Dalton could result in more catchable passes for Adam Thielen, Jonathan Mingo, D.J. Chark, Laviska Shenault, and any other potential Carolina pass-catchers.
The Panthers are 6.5-point underdogs against Seattle in Week 3. Their implied team total of 17.75 points is tied for the second-lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
