Saints' Delvin Breaux (broken leg) will miss at least six weeks
New Orleans Saints cornerback Delvin Breaux (broken leg) will miss about six weeks after undergoing surgery Monday morning, head coach Sean Payton said.
Easily the Saints' best cover man, Breaux's absence will be a big loss for a defense which already struggled Week 1. New Orleans was a prime target for opposing wide receivers in 2015, and they should present an even better matchups for opposing passing games the next several weeks.
The Saints' secondary allowed 319 passing yards and a touchdown to Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr in Week 1, as well as 14.96 Passing Net Expected Points, per numberFire Live.
