Ty Montgomery could lead Packers' backfield Thursday night

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Ty Montgomery "will get the majority of the running back reps" Thursday night against the Chicago Bears, said ESPN Packers reporter Rob Demovsky.

What It Means:

Montgomery was heavily involved in the backfield last week with Eddie Lacy (ankle) active, so he's in line for more action on Thursday. Recently acquired Knile Davis and newly promoted Don Jackson are expected to see some work as well. Montgomery has value in standard leagues and makes for an even better PPR option.

Our models expect Montgomery to rush 9 times and catch 4 passes on Thursday night, totaling 83 yards and 0.31 touchdowns versus Chicago.
