Dion Lewis (knee, PUP) due back at Patriots' practice this week
New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis (knee, PUP) is expected back at practice this week, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Once Lewis steps foot on the practice field, it'll open a 21-day window for the Patriots to activate him from reserve/PUP. According to RapSheet, Lewis is "doing well," but he is highly questionable for Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. It's anybody's guess when Lewis will be back, and with James White playing really well as the pass-game back, it's unclear what Lewis' role would be.
If he's healthy, our models project Lewis to return as the 34th-best running back for fantasy for the rest of the season, with 94 touches for 549 total yards and 3.18 total touchdowns.
