Washington may not use Josh Norman to shadow Cowboys' Dez Bryant
Washington will "try to keep [cornerback] Josh Norman on the left side" of the field rather than shadow Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, CSN Mid-Atlantic's Rich Tandler believes.
Tandler does leave open the possibility that Washington "will adjust if needed," but it doesn't sound like Norman will full-out track Bryant all over the field. The Carolina Panthers played Bryant in shadow coverage last year, but Norman didn't shadow Bryant in Week 2 of this season. Washington's second cornerback, Bashaud Breeland, has been getting absolutely torched this season, so it's more likely Norman is on Bryant more often than not.
Despite a tough test with Norman, our models project Bryant as the fifth-best fantasy wideout this week. We peg him for 71.18 receiving yards and 0.88 touchdowns on 4 catches.
