Eagles split first-team running back reps between LeGarrette Blount and Wendell Smallwood on Thursday
Philadelphia Eagles running backs LeGarrette Blount and Wendell Smallwood shared first-team reps in Thursday's preseason game.
Each of the two saw 4 carries in the game, with Blount gaining 19 yards while Smallwood racked up 28. Blount is still the favorite to lead the Eagles' backfield this season, and Darren Sproles will still play a big role in the passing game.
numberFire's models project Blount for 680.7 yards and 4.8 touchdowns on 166.4 carries in 2017. He is our 36th-ranked fantasy running back, compared to 67th for Smallwood.
