Cardinals’ David Johnson (wrist) will reportedly have surgery, miss 2-3 months
Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson is expected to miss 2-3 months after electing to have wrist surgery, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Per Schefter, the Cardinals will place Johnson on injured reserve, but he will have the chance to come back in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. Kerwynn Williams and Andre Ellington will form a committee in Arizona's backfield, but they're expected to bring in outside help that will likely come in the form of veteran Chris Johnson.
Johnson finished with 10.1 FanDuel points in Week 1, falling well short of numberFire's projections (21.6). Per numberFire Live, he posted a game-low -10.19 Rushing Net Expected Points.
