By now, you've probably dabbled in daily fantasy sports, but if not, don't worry. Now is a great time to start, especially with FanDuel now offering a revamped version of PGA golf.
Golf can be one of the most exciting DFS sports to follow, as tournaments span four days and allow ample time to prepare each week, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the basics of building a lineup on FanDuel, the scoring setup, and advanced stats to know about the PGA.
But whether you're brand new to the PGA or daily fantasy sports in general, we have you covered -- and we have daily fantasy golf projections and lineup building tools, too.
Let's take a look at some golfers to target this week.

Best of the Best
Dustin Johnson (FanDuel Price: $12,400 | Paddy Power Win Odds: 8/1) - DJ is always in play, and that's the case again this week. He's 4th in strokes gained: off the tee and approach, as well as 1st in birdie or better rate over the past 50 rounds. Johnson ranks second in FedEx Cup points and sure would benefit from a win, of which he has 3 in 2018 and 10 since the start of 2016. Johnson has four top-11 finishes in his past five events.
Brooks Koepka ($12,100 | 14/1) - Koepka leads the field in strokes gained: off the tee, and he's also 15th in approach, plus 2nd in birdie or better rate. Koepka also sits 18th in strokes gained: around the green, which could prove vital if the added bunkers start to wreak havoc on placement. Koepka enters with a 5th at the WGC-Bridgestone, a win at the PGA, an 8th at The Northern Trust, and a 12th last week at the Dell Technologies Championship.
Justin Thomas ($11,800 | 12/1) - Thomas ranks 3rd in approach and 24th off the tee, yet the finishes have been strong, with a win at the WGC-Bridgestone, 6th at the PGA, 8th at The Northern Trust, and 24th last week at the Dell Technologies Championship. Thomas has more wins (2) than missed cuts (1) in 19 events this season, including 6 top-10s overall. He's got the right combination of current form and stats to contend this week without a doubt.
Francesco Molinari ($10,800 | 30/1) - Molinari could be a bit of an afterthought this week, as he didn't play last week and missed the cut at The Northern Trust. But the recent form is still great overall: a win at the BMW PGA Championship, 2nd at the Italian Open, 25th at the US Open, win at the Quicken Loans, 2nd at the John Deere, win at the Open, 39th at the WGC-Bridgestone, and 6th at the PGA prior. Molinari ranks 1st in strokes gained: approach, 5th in birdie or better rate, and 5th in scrambling over the past 50 rounds, as well as 13th in strokes gained: off the tee.
Tony Finau ($10,800 | 25/1) - Because we highlighted three of the four top-priced golfers, I'll throw in another possible option in this range. Finau sits 7th off the tee and 33rd in approach, as well as 4th in birdie or better rate and 6th in greens in regulation. He has four top-10s in his past six events, including consecutive top-four showings.
Mid-Range Options
Rickie Fowler ($10,200 | 22/1) - Fowler is definitely in play at this price. He's dealing with an oblique injury but ranks seventh in approach and grades out well in the other stats, too. Fowler has made eight straight cuts, most recently finishing 12th at the PGA. He almost played last week, so the injury is probably not enough of a concern to avoid him at such a cheap price.
Patrick Cantlay ($9,900 | 35/1) - Cantlay is one of just six golfers to rank inside the top 15 in strokes gained: approach and off the tee over the past 50 rounds, and he's actually 5th off the tee. Cantlay's 20th in scrambling and 4th in greens in regulation in that span, as well, and he does have a 20th-place finish here in 2011. Sitting 12th in FedEx points, he's got a real shot to advance.
Adam Scott ($9,700 | 33/1) - Scott finished 3rd here in 2011, giving him some familiarity with the course, but what stands out more is the recent performance. Scott ranks 23rd in approach, 7th in birdie or better rate, and 12th in proximity from 175-plus yards. He's about average in the other key stats, but we're dipping below $10,000, so we hav to expect that. The 33
Gary Woodland ($9,400 | 66/1) - Woodland ranks 6th off the tee and 8th in approach over the past 50 rounds, making him one of three golfers inside the top 10 in both stats. The problem? He just rarely brings a hot putter, and he's 62nd in strokes gained: putting over the past 50 rounds. Woodland did play here in 2011, finishing 47th, and he finds himself right on the cutline of the FedEx standings (30th).
Tyrrell Hatton ($9,200 | 50/1) - Hatton will need a strong showing to get into the final 30 next week (he's 54th right now in the FedEx standings). Hatton has made eight straight cuts and has four top-20s to his name, most recently finishing 12th last week. Hatton's not a strong off-the-tee guy, but he's 17th in approach and 7th around the green over the past 50 rounds, and he's also 4th in scrambling.
Low-Priced Picks
Kyle Stanley ($8,500 | 60/1) - Stanley finished 34th here in 2011 and was 12th last week. He owns surprisingly short win odds at this price, and he's top 20 in strokes gained: off the tee and around the green but 42nd in approach. His irons have been good for most of the season, so if he puts it all together, he could be part of a high-scoring lineup this week.
Billy Horschel ($8,300 | 55/1) - Horshel withdrew last week with an illness but appears ready to hit Aronimink. He's 8th in strokes gained: off the tee and 2nd in approach, 1st in greens in regulation and scrambling, and 15th in birdie or better rate among the field. Prior to his withdrawal, he finished 3rd at The Northern Trust, 11th at the Wyndham, and 35th at the PGA Championship.
Cheng-Tsung Pan ($8,300 | 75/1) - Pan is 11th in approach, birdie or better rate, and scrambling in our split, putting him firmly in play at a cheap price tag. Speaking of 11s, that's where he finished at the Barracuda before improving to T2 at the Wyndham and T4 at the Dell Technologies (with a T60 at The Northern Trust in between). Pan sits 33rd in the playoff standings, so he needs another strong outing to advance.
Abraham Ancer ($7,900 | 90/1) - Ancer, 56th in the playoff standings, has had some upside performances of late. He was the 54-hole leader last week and wound up 7th, after a missed cut at The Northern Trust. Prior to that, though, he finished 24th at the Wyndham and 5th at the RBC Canadian Open. Ancer ranks 2nd in strokes gained: off the tee and 2nd in scrambling, as well as 32nd in approach over the past 50 rounds.
