Through 12 big league appearances, he owns a 4.41 ERA and 4.05 SIERA. He's also allowing a rough .356 wOBA with a 4.11 xFIP against right-handed hitters so far, making this a nice matchup for Brandon Phillips.

The 35-year-old Phillips has been producing very well since the All Star break, slashing .361/.389/.509 with a .386 wOBA through 113 plate appearances.

He has also done his best work over his career against left-handed pitching with a .340 wOBA, .173 ISO and 30.0% hard-hit rate. That puts him in a great spot today.
