Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Facing Braves' rookie John Gant, stud bats like Paul Goldschmidt and Jake Lamb will be highly-owned. In addition, while the sample size is small, in 2016 Gant has allowed nearly three times as many doubles and homeruns to left-handed bats than he has to right-handed hitters.
Why You Should Use Him:
With Gant allowing a 34.1% hard-hit rate in 2016, all Diamondbacks should be on your radar, and Jean Segura should be near the tops of that list.
Segura enjoys the friendly confines of Chase Field as he sees a bump at home in OPS of 33 points (.863 at home versus .830 on the road). In addition, Segura actually hits right-handed pitchers better than left-handed hurlers as his OPS jumps up 71 points against southpaws.
Lastly, the Braves are one of the worst teams in stolen bases allowed. They are third in most stolen bases allowed (97) and have only caught attempted base stealers 18.49% of the time. With 27 stolen bases in 526 plate appearances (or one every 19 plate appearances), Segura could do some damage.
