Why He Will Go Overlooked:
The Toronto Blue Jays rank seventh in Major League Baseball in wOBA (.332) against left-handed pitching. Several bats such as Edwin Encarnacion and Josh Donaldson see large spikes in production at home versus lefties. Combined with a recent disabled list stint for about two and a half weeks, it should lead to Kevin Pillar being largely ignored.
Why You Should Use Him:
Pillar also enjoys the Rogers Centre like Encarnacion and Donaldson do, as his OPS spikes 240 points along with a 50 point bump in ISO.
Twins lefty Pat Dean has already surrendered 7 home runs in 45.2 innings pitched this year, or a rate of 1.77 per nine innings pitched.
Adding in Dean's .571 road slugging percentage to right-handed bats, and Pillar should give lineups a great sub-$3,000 option.
