With a salary so close to the minimum, though, his value comes as much from his matchup as his abilities from the dish, and he's up against the struggling Dan Straily tonight.

Straily has a 4.63 SIERA on the year to go with a 4.45 over his career, and through five MLB seasons, he has never posted a SIERA below 4.25. He also has an ugly 5.63 xFIP against left-handed pitching on the season. Buss should have little trouble returning strong value on his low salary tonight.
