4 Under-the-Radar FanDuel MLB Plays for 8/29/16
Mike Napoli and the Indians should get back on track offensively after a tough weekend. What other lower-owned players should you target?

Mike Napoli, 1B, Cleveland Indians

FanDuel Price: $3,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Indians suffered a really rough weekend, losing three of four games at the Rangers. Outside of a 12-run outburst on Friday and despite having what seemed to be some great opportunities, the Indians only scored a single run in the other three tilts combined.

Why You Should Use Him:

Mike Napoli and his teammates will face Hector Santiago of the Twins at home, and they should get collectively healthy pretty fast. So far in 2016, Santiago sports a 4.84 SIERA and Progressive Field ranks second in runs and fifth in home runs.

Santiago is an extreme fly-ball pitcher, as he's allowed fly-ball rates of 53.6% and 48.2% in 2015 and 2016, respectively (2016 league average is 34.4%). While his fly-ball rate has decreased from 2015 to 2016, his home runs per fly ball rate has risen by 3.3%.

Napoli, meanwhile, is an extreme fly-ball hitter at 44.4% and really enjoys hitting at home, where he has a 1.041 OPS and .322 ISO.

All of these signs point to a big day for Napoli and the Indians after a quiet last few games.
