Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Miguel Cabrera will lock horns with one of the best pitchers in baseball over the past few months in Danny Duffy, who's 11-2 with a 3.01 ERA. Cabrera also has done more damage against right-handed pitchers this season, evidenced by a 50-point bump in OPS from .885 to .935.
Why You Should Use Him:
Over the second half of the season, Cabrera has been on absolute tear. In 175 plate appearances, he has a 1.022 OPS and a .266 ISO.
And for as good as Duffy has been, his home run rate nearly quadruples from left-handed bats (0.30 home runs per nine innings pitched) to right-handed bats (1.30 home runs per nine innings pitched).
With Duffy's fly ball rate on the rise to 48.7% in 43 August innings, Cabrera makes for an intriguing play.
