3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 9/5/16
Sandy Leon has been on a tear, and Edwin Jackson isn't likely to slow him down. Who else should you target for big time fantasy value?

Sandy Leon, C, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Sandy Leon has been mashing since being called up to the majors in June this year. Through 57 games (208 plate appearances), he's slashing .357/.415/.573 with a .417 wOBA. He owns an absurd .440 BABIP in that time, so you shouldn't expect to see his numbers remain so elite, but even with a little bit of luck on his side, those numbers and a 36.1% hard-hit rate are very encouraging.

He also has a terrific matchup today, taking on Edwin Jackson and the San Diego Padres.

Jackson's SIERA has decreased for the fifth straight season now, sitting at a very ugly 5.75 on the year, accompanied by an 11.7% walk rate and 12.9% strikeout rate. He gives any hitter a big boost in value, and Leon should be able produce a strong fantasy score here.
