The Arizona Diamondbacks are starting righty Rubby De La Rosa. De La Rosa is working his way back to form after an elbow injury, and if his last start is any indication (Arizona let him throw just two innings), this will be a bullpen game for the Diamondbacks.
Fortunately for the Colorado Rockies, Arizona's relievers are pretty bad. The D-Backs' bullpen ranks 27th in strikeout rate (20.3), 29th in SIERA (4.32), and 26th in hard-hit rate (32.7%).
Blackmon's splits make zero sense. A lefty, he actually fares better against southpaws, and despite calling Coors home, his wOBA on the road (.397) is better than it is at home (.379). Dude has been on fire in the second half, racking up a .414 wOBA, and he boasts a 47.8% hard-hit rate through a small sample of 32 plate appearances in September.
