FanDuel Price: $9,700
You may have heard: Rich Hill pitched pretty well his last time out. The Los Angeles Dodgers' southpaw didn't allow a baserunner through seven innings before being removed by manager Dave Roberts.
His matchup isn't ideal -- versus the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field -- but he's throwing too well to ignore. For the season, Hill owns a 3.36 SIERA, 29.3% strikeout rate, and 8.0% walk rate. He's thrown just 19 frames since coming over the Los Angeles, but the dude has been filthy in blue with a 30.8% strikeout rate and 3.1% walk rate.
Chase Field is 5th in park factor, and Arizona ranks 11th in wOBA (.324). Those aren't numbers we usually target, but the D-Backs also have the sixth-highest strikeout rate against lefties at 23.6%.
Hill is our top-ranked arm with a projected point total of 40.8 FanDuel points, which is nearly 6 points clear of any other hurler. Arizona's 3.77 implied total is the second-lowest of the slate, and the Dodgers are huge favorites (-203 moneyline). On a short slate, Hill's upside is mighty attractive, even against a quality offense.
