4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 9/20/16
Adrian Beltre has a fairly low salary and is in a good spot tonight against Daniel Wright. What other low-cost players could put up big numbers.

Addison Russell, SS, Chicago Cubs

FanDuel Price: $2,500

Addison Russell has shown some major improvement from the dish since his 2015 rookie campaign, and he is slashing .247/.327/.433 with a .324 wOBA and .186 ISO this season. Those aren't awe-inspiring numbers, but when you combine them with the fact that he is hitting in a Chicago Cubs lineup that ranks second in Offensive Wins Above Replacement, it gives a big boost to his fantasy value.

The Cubs have a great matchup tonight against Josh Smith of the Cincinnati Reds.

Smith is making his first start of the season, and through 50.2 innings as a reliever this year, he has struggled to the tune of a 4.97 ERA and 4.42 SIERA. He owns a 4.37 xFIP against right-handed hitters through his first two years in the majors, and Russell should be able to find some success in what will likely be a big day for the Cubs' offense.
