FanDuel Price: $6,800
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
There are a few huge studs on the slate, namely Corey Kluber, Kyle Hendricks, and 20-game winner J.A. Happ. As a result, Sean Manaea and his 6-9 record should go largely unnoticed on the day.
Why You Should Use Him:
Manaea has been fantastic as of late, and after recently hitting the disabled list, he has thrown 11 scoreless innings in his return.
Manaea sports a 21.3% strikeout rate for the season, but has hiked that up to 24.0% in the second half of the year, part of the reason for his 3.49 xFIP in the second half.
As a slight favorite based on the moneyline, Manaea should make for a great tournament play against the Los Angeles Angels, who own a wRC+ of 101 against lefties this year.
