Fantasy Baseball: Late-Round Targets at Each Position for 2017
Late in fantasy baseball drafts is the time to fill holes on your roster. Which players can help us do this once we get to the final few rounds?

Relief Pitcher: Neftali Feliz and Koda Glover

The Milwaukee Brewers have some bats who can bang, meaning no matter how bad their starting pitching is, they're going to have some leads to protect. Neftali Feliz looks like the guy who will come in to close those out.

Feliz appeared cooked in 2015, finishing his 48 relief appearances with a 6.38 ERA and just an 18.4% strikeout rate. Like many before him, though, some time with the Pittsburgh Pirates turned things around as he posted a 28.0% strikeout rate in 2016, validated by his 14.2% swinging-strike rate. He allowed a bit too much hard contact, which is scary at Miller Park, but the strikeouts and save opportunities should be there to make him a cheap outlet for relief help.

Koda Glover is a bit more of a longshot, but we should be taking stabs at both him and Blake Treinen. The two are battling for the Washington Nationals' closer role, a spot that could lead to tons of saves this year. Shawn Kelley is reportedly out of the running for the job, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, leaving just those two in contention.

Glover has been tremendous this spring, striking out 11 of 24 batters while walking just one in seven appearances. Treinen is yet to allow a base runner, but that's while facing just nine batters across three innings. The usage seems to favor Glover, meaning we should do the same.

It's not a done deal that Glover wins the job, so we shouldn't be taking him too early in drafts. However, he's the 48th reliever off the board right now on ESPN and owned in just 5.5% of leagues, so you don't need to pay much to get him. If Glover wins the job, he'll immediately become one of the better relief assets in the game, and that makes him an ideal target when searching for relievers late.

Other candidates: Greg Holland, Blake Trienen
