4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 4/7/17
Coming off a solid second half and a monster spring, Francisco Liriano makes for a nice alternative on Friday when others will be focused on top-priced studs.

Francisco Liriano, SP, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $8,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

With Max Scherzer making his 2017 debut for the Washington Nationals and Michael Fulmer also taking the bump, these two aces are sure to see high ownership. Struggling to the worst FIP of his career (4.89) thanks to a 13% walk rate as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Francisco Liriano stands to be overlooked on Friday, at least on the all-day slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

While Liriano certainly struggled last season, he picked up the pace as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays -by striking out 26.5% of hitters in the second half of the season. In addition to that, the southpaw is strengthened by a great matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays, who struck out a league-high 25.4% of the time against lefties in 2016.

All this adds up to a potential explosive outing for Liriano.
