4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 4/7/17
Coming off a solid second half and a monster spring, Francisco Liriano makes for a nice alternative on Friday when others will be focused on top-priced studs.

Jonathan Villar, 2B, Milwaukee Brewers

FanDuel Price: $3,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Jose Altuve gets to continue a homestand with the Houston Astros, where he's been a far better hitter during his career (.350 home wOBA, .332 road wOBA). Throw in a white-hot Brian Dozier, who gets to take aim at lefty Derek Holland, and Jonathan Villar could be a nice option that not many others are considering.

Why You Should Use Him:

Far better from the right side of the plate (.930 OPS in 2016) than the left side (.786) last season, Villar gets to hit from his stronger side today against Brett Anderson of the Chicago Cubs. What's very enticing about this matchup is Villar's power potential as a righty, which produced an ISO of .236 last year.

In Anderson's last full season on the mound (2015), he proved to be more vulnerable to right-handed hitters by surrendering a 26.6% hard-hit rate against them, compared to a 19.1% rate against left-handers.
