The Texas Rangers may have a 4.39 implied team total against Danny Duffy, but that might not be giving Duffy enough credit.
Last season, the southpaw had a 3.53 SIERA and excellent 25.7% strikeout rate. He hasn't quite reached that strikeout rate this year at 22.1%, but a 14.1% swinging-strike rate signals that more punchouts are probably on the way.
Carlos Gomez has a 35.9% hard-hit rate his season, but he's batting just .155. A low BABIP is largely to blame (.167), but he also has a high 27.9% strikeout rate, which isn't too far off from his abysmal 30.0% rate last year.
Duffy had a 38.6% hard-hit rate against righties last year, so Gomez could conceivably knock one out if he can get his bat on the ball. But it leaves Gomez as nothing more than a risky GPP dart throw.
