5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/25/17
On a slate with Clayton Kershaw and a Coors Field game, Brandon Moss offers plenty of upside while freeing up some cap space. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Tuesday?

Joe Mauer, 1B, Minnesota Twins

FanDuel Price: $3,000

The Texas Rangers are starting Andrew Cashner on the mound, and that's almost always going to be a matchup worth looking at in fantasy. Cashner has a 6.11 SIERA through two starts after posting a 4.00-plus SIERA in each of the last two years. He'll also be pitching at home in the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park, and the Minnesota Twins' 4.56 implied total is the fourth-highest of the day.

Though he's past his prime, Joe Mauer still hit righties for a decent .343 wOBA in 2016. He has been making some great contact in 2017, too, opening the year with a very solid 35.5% hard-hit rate. He also 54th among among the 335 hitters with at least 10 batted balls over the past 15 days in average exit velocity, making him plenty dangerous in a matchup this favorable.
