FanDuel Price: $3,000
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Even with a chance for storms in the forecast, Ian Kinsler could put big numbers tonight. He will face off against Mike Pelfrey, who posted a 5.25 SIERA for Kinsler's Detroit Tigers in 2016 over 119 innings pitched.
Leaving his home digs of Coors Field, DJ LeMahieu could see low ownership against strikeout stud Robbie Ray of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Ray has been solid to start 2017, posting a 29.7% strikeout rate and a 3.77 SIERA.
Why You Should Use Him:
LeMahieu hasn't exactly picked up where he left off in 2016, when he won the National League batting title, along with posting a sterling .911 OPS and a healthy 11 stolen bases mixed in.
However, that's not to say he's been horrible, either, and he may just be a little unlucky -- his current .306 BABIP would easily be the lowest of his career, and he's still maintained a healthy batting eye with a walk rate of 11.3%.
Where Ray has struggled so far this year is at home versus righties -- who've lit him up to the tune of a .408 wOBA. And while Ray has been brilliant so far on the road (0.71 ERA), he's really struggled at home (6.55 ERA).
Combine all of this with Ray's 45.6% hard-hit rate on the season, and LeMahieu could post a big FanDuel point total.
