FanDuel Price: $2,600
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
It may be hard to believe, but as potent as Coors Field is, the Arizona Diamondbacks enjoy hitting at Chase Field even more. So far in 2017, the Diamondbacks lead the league in home wOBA at a robust .394. A.J. Pollock and fellow outfielder Yasmany Tomas are sure to see a lot of ownership as they face Rockies starter Kyle Freeland.
One team that's sure to be ignored is the Philadelphia Phillies -- including outfielder Michael Saunders. Saunders and company currently sport one of the lowest implied team totals of the day at 3.25 runs.
Why You Should Use Him:
While his velocity may even be up a few ticks this season, Kenta Maeda has really struggled. It's still early, but his strikeout rate is down from 25.0% last season to 22.4%, and his 3.98 SIERA is being driven by a 53.4% fly-ball rate.
Lefties have posed the biggest problem for Maeda -- they've logged a staggering .450 wOBA against him off the strength of a 34.3% hard-hit rate and a 56.3% fly-ball rate.
And while Saunders hasn't blown the doors of so far in Philly -- he's put up only a .301 wOBA in 69 plate appearances -- he's really cheap and often bats fifth in. Combine with a great opportunity, and Saunders could make for a sneaky play.
