4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/2/17
Brandon Phillips is enjoying a nice renaissance and has a great opportunity to continue producing on Tuesday. Who else is poised for a big night and could go overlooked?

Brandon Phillips, 2B, Atlanta Braves

FanDuel Price: $3,300

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Washington Nationals offense continues to mash, and Daniel Murphy is just one of the many members performing at a prolific rate. He will face Taijuan Walker, who's been good as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks, but has struggled with left-handed batters.

After posting the second-worst wOBA of his career last season over 584 plate appearances as a member of the Cincinnati Reds (.315), Brandon Phillips was largely ignored for fantasy purposes in 2017 despite a quick start.

Why You Should Use Him:

Phillips is enjoying a nice comeback campaign, albeit an early one. His .366 wOBA has been fueled by a 31.0% hard-hit rate, which would be his best mark since 2007 if it held for the entire season.

Perhaps what makes Phillips even more attractive of an option is his matchup against Matt Harvey of the New York Mets. Harvey's 4.72 SIERA and 14.9% strikeout rate would be the worst marks of his career and he's gotten dinged up by righties to the tune of a .336 wOBA.
