4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 5/3/17
Robbie Ray may have a 30.2% strikeout rate, but he's not worth the risk against the Nationals. Who else should you fade in daily fantasy baseball today?

Delino DeShields, OF, Texas Rangers

FanDuel Price: $2,700

The Texas Rangers have finally made Delino DeShields Jr. their leadoff man, and they've enjoyed the early returns.

Since being placed atop the order (last six games), DeShields has at least six FanDuel points in each game, reaching double digits in four.

However, the Rangers get a revitalized Charlie Morton tonight, who has a 3.38 SIERA and 24.6% strikeout rate this season. DeShields often struggles with strikeouts, and currently has a poor 30.4% strikeout rate.

The Rangers also have a low implied team total of 3.68, and while DeShields has become an excellent value play lately, it might be best to find that value elsewhere.
