3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 5/4/17
Kole Calhoun has homered in three straight games, but don't expect him to make it four as he takes on a lefty. Who else should you avoid on tonight's small slate?

Kole Calhoun, OF, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $3,000

As I said about Josh Harrison in yesterday's article, it's not a good idea to chase points, particularly when they seem to come out of nowhere.

Kole Calhoun has homered in three straight games, so it might be tempting to "ride the hot hand," but it's tough to see it happening a fourth time. Before he hit for the homer hat trick, he only had one jack in his previous 25 games. His modest .142 isolated power and 25% hard-hit rate hardly scream power-hitter, either.

Calhoun is also going up against Ariel Miranda, which is a dreaded lefty-lefty matchup.

Simply put, Calhoun isn't a big-upside play on most nights, and the matchup doesn't warrant going here, regardless of what he's done in his last three games.
