4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/5/17
Facing a strikeout pitcher in a lefty-lefty matchup, Eddie Rosario sticks out as an under-the-radar play who is in a better spot than it seems. Which other likely under-owned players could bust out on Friday's slate?

Martin Prado, 3B, Miami Marlins

FanDuel Price: $3,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Arizona Diamondbacks-Colorado Rockies matchup in Coors Field should lead to a pile of Jake Lamb and Nolan Arenado ownership at third base, and with good reason as the over/under has been set a whopping 11 runs for the mile-high tilt.

Starting the season on the shelf due to a bum hammy he incurred at the World Baseball Classic, Martin Prado of the Miami Marlins just joined the squad. Thanks to his absence, he's re-familiarizing himself to fantasy owners and shouldn't see a high rate of ownership.

Why You Should Use Him:

Prado has returned to the Marlins like a man on fire. In two of his last three contests, he's racked up at least 12 FanDuel points.

Slotted nicely into the second spot of the Marlins' lineup, he will be facing New York Mets starter Rafael Montero. This will be Montero's first start of the season, and he's struggled so far in a bullpen role. Montero has logged a 19.1% walk rate -- yes, that's the real number -- and a 6.07 SIERA so far this year.

Combining Prado's low price point with a very positive matchup, there's a big opportunity for upside. The versatile Prado makes for a nice pivot off of the Diamondbacks-Rockies game.
