5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/9/17
Tommy Joseph owns a 47.6% hard-hit rate over the past 15 days and draws a good matchup against Ariel Miranda and the Mariners. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Tuesday?

Brad Miller, SS, Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Price: $2,600

I had to do a bit of a double-take looking at Brad Miller's price tag. He hasn't been producing strong numbers yet this season, but he's sporting a big 37.5% hard-hit rate, which would build on what was a career-high 35.1% in 2016. He has done his best work, by a pretty big margin, against right-handed pitching over his career, making him easy to like against Chris Young and the Kansas City Royals.

Young faced nearly 200 left-handed hitters last season and was shelled for a massive .476 wOBA on a 51.7% hard-hit rate. If those numbers belonged to a single hitter, they would've ranked first among players with at least 190 plate appearances. He also hasn't looked good to start 2017, with a 4.58 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and a 13.2% strikeout rate, as well as an abysmal 7.79 xFIP against left-handed hitters. This a good night to load up on the Tampa Bay Rays' right-handed bats.
