FanDuel Price: $3,700
Aaron Altherr is a pleasant surprise for the Philadelphia Phillies, and he has been on fire lately.
He's scored at least 9.2 FanDuel points in each of his last six games, including four games with at least 20 points. The trouble is that with success comes the inevitable price hike, and his salary has gone from $2,900 to $3,700 in short order.
There's reason to believe Altherr can continue playing well (42.2% hard-hit rate), but his strikeout rate remains high (26.7%) and a 30.8% home-run-to-fly-ball rate (HR/FB) is due for regression.
He's facing Ariel Miranda, who's often been a DFS pitcher to attack, but he's actually put together a 3.89 SIERA through six starts, making it a fairly neutral matchup.
With a packed slate, the Phillies aren't a particularly noteworthy spot to go, and Altherr will be more appealing when his price decreases.
