FanDuel Price: $3,700
The Los Angeles Dodgers have a reasonable 4.28 implied team total against Ivan Nova, but it could be tough sledding for the right-handed Justin Turner.
It's well-known that Nova has made extraordinary strides since being traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. This season he has a 3.48 SIERA on the back of a 50.4% ground-ball rate and unbelievably low 0.6% walk rate.
Much of this success has come from his ability to stymie right-handed bats. Since joining the Pirates last year, he has surrendered a 24.3% strikeout rate, 63.1% ground-ball rate, and 27.1% hard-hit rate versus righties.
However, against southpaws in that same span, Nova has a mere 11.1% strikeout rate, 38.7% ground-ball rate, and 36.7% hard-hit rate.
Turner hits righties well, but the Dodgers should roll out a predominantly lefty lineup, giving you better options if you want to go to this game.
