5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/11/17
Jonathan Lucroy has nice upside with the Rangers sporting a 4.82 implied total against Clayton Richard and the Padres. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Thursday?

Joe Panik, 2B, San Francisco Giants

FanDuel Price: $2,900

The Cincinnati Reds are starting 40-year-old Bronson Arroyo on the mound, and as long as they keep doing that, they're going to keep being a matchup to attack in daily fantasy.

It may come as a surprise that a guy who hasn't posted a SIERA below 4.00 since 2003 is struggling, but Arroyo, in his first major league action since 2014, is on pace for the second-worst SIERA (4.73), highest hard-hit rate (36.0%) and second-lowest soft-hit rate (14.0%) of his career.

Joe Panik is not exactly a strong hitter, and he's not someone to look at often, but he'll likely be hitting leadoff against Arroyo. That alone is enough to make him a solid value option at this price point.
