5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/12/17
Tommy Pham has been raking, and he draws a promising matchup against Cubs righty Eddie Butler. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Friday?

Rajai Davis, OF, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $2,800

Rajai Davis isn't especially dangerous from the dish, but his stolen-base upside and a terrific matchup go a long way to boosting his fantasy value. Our projections have him as the second-best point-per-dollar value on the slate.

The Oakland Athletics have the sixth-highest implied total on today's big 15-game slate as they travel to the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park to take on Texas Rangers righty Andrew Cashner, who has been awful to date, sporting a 6.23 SIERA with a 16.2% walk rate that sits well ahead of his 12.8% strikeout rate.

This matchup gives a significant boost to Davis' chances of getting on base, which is where he can do some real fantasy damage. He swiped 43 bags last season, and the 0.33 stolen bases we project him for tonight are the second-most on the slate.
