Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream For Week 7
Jerad Eickhoff hasn't been able to follow up his surprisingly productive 2016 with a strong start to this season, but he's in a nice spot to help starter-needy fantasy owners in Week 7.

Matt Boyd, Detroit Tigers

Starts May 16 vs Baltimore Orioles, May 21 vs Texas Rangers

ESPN ownership: 8 percent

Matt Boyd has been a sneakily solid end-of-the-rotation arm for a Detroit Tigers team whose ace hasn't quite rounded into top form and whose bullpen has been reliably awful. Even so, the standard-league apathy towards Boyd is understandable--the lefty has no real pedigree, a modest sub-seven K/9, and a suspect 11-percent walk rate.

That said, deep leaguers could do worse than to plug-and-play the 26-year-old for two home starts this week as Boyd's home ERA trails his road ERA by almost three whole runs.

And while we've already established that the Rangers are hardly a taxing matchup, it may come as a surprise to some that the perennially fearsome Orioles haven't exactly been clobbering the ball of late, with a weighted run score against lefties over the last month that is barely above league average.

Boyd should still remain persona non grata for 10- and 12-team rosters, but in anything deeper, he's an strong streaming play who could be an outright hold if he irons out his walk problem.
