It's kind of hard to believe that four years later, Jeter improved upon his 2002 numbers in a big way. He added 46 points to his batting average (.343) along with 22 more RBI and 13 additional doubles.
Although Jeter had 4 fewer dingers, his slugging percentage climbed from .421 to .483, with 39.9 offensive runs above replacement (OFF). That same year, his on-base percentage of .417 became the second-highest of his career.
Jeter made yet another All-Star appearance while finishing second in the AL MVP voting. He also took home a Silver Slugger and Gold Glove for a 97-win Yankees club.
