FanDuel Price: $2,500
You're going to want exposure to the Chicago Cubs offense. Strong winds blowing out are in the forecast at Wrigley, and in a terrific matchup against Cincinnati Reds' righty Bronson Arroyo, the Cubs have an absolutely massive 6.84 implied total.
Miguel Montero is one of the most budget-friendly ways to get exposure here. He's only had 55 plate appearances this season, but he is hitting the ball well, with a .361 wOBA and a career-high 38.5% hard-hit rate. His 10.3% soft-hit rate and 43.6% fly-ball rate are also encouraging marks, and these numbers are more than good enough to make him a top value in this ideal situation.
If Montero doesn't start at catcher, it will likely be Willson Contreras ($2,700) behind the dish, and while his .301 wOBA to open the season isn't a great mark, he has a .345 wOBA through 399 plate appearances over his first two years in the majors, and he too would be a strong value in this spot.
