FanDuel Price: $8,700
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
There are five very expensive aces on the slate priced at $9,000 or above -- and all should expect to see high levels of ownership. In particular, Stephen Strasburg and Dallas Keuchel, who are heavy favorites, should see a lot of run this evening.
One pitcher that may go a bit overlooked is Rich Hill of the Los Angeles Dodgers -- he will be making his first start after returning from a disabled list stint, and given the uncertainty around his blister issues, will probably be low-owned.
Why You Should Use Him:
Hill really couldn't be blessed with a better first matchup coming off the DL -- he will face a San Francisco Giants team that ranks dead last in team wOBA (.281).
And while the Giants aren't striking out a ton, that number does bump up a hair against left-handed pitching (20.0%).
Hill's 5.14 SIERA in only eight innings pitched leaves a bit to be desired -- but with the way the Giants are struggling to swing the stick, combined with Hill's 29.4% strikeout rate last season over 110 1/3 innings pitched, this juicy matchup is just too hard to ignore.
