3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/18/17
Facing the struggling Julio Teheran, Ezequiel Carrera is primed for a big night. Who else makes for a great sleeper play for Thursday's MLB DFS contests?

Ezequiel Carrera, OF, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $2,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Boston Red Sox offense is starting to heat up, and they'll look to continue rolling against a struggling Sonny Gray. Over 16 2/3 innings pitched, Gray has posted a less than impressive 4.68 SIERA and 12.7% strikeout rate. Mookie Betts and his buddies are sure to get some serious run.

Ezequiel Carrera, meanwhile, will more than likely fly under the radar. As a team, the Blue Jays rank only 24th in team wOBA (.301), and are whiffing at a 21.4% rate.

Why You Should Use Him:

Carrera has been quietly producing lately -- over his last eight contests, he's posted double-digit FanDuel points in four.

If there's been a bleak spot for Julio Teheran, the Atlanta Braves' starter, it's been at their new home park. Teheran's posted an 8.14 ERA over 21 innings pitched at home this season, fueled by a .386 wOBA.

And those pesky lefties keep bothering Teheran, especially at home -- they've ripped him for an absurd 51.4% hard-hit rate.
