FanDuel Price: $7,400
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
On a small slate, there are a few expensive options that should see high ownership, including Marcus Stroman, Julio Teheran and Danny Duffy.
Fortunately, Jordan Montgomery is in a great spot, and probably won't be as highly owned. Only a slight favorite (money line of -111), Montgomery's ceiling appears to be limited.
Why You Should Use Him:
Montgomery gets to face the Kansas City Royals, who are 29th in team wOBA (.285) and are striking out a healthy clip of 20.9%. Their 127 runs scored are the lowest in the league. Yuck.
Coupled with a projected eight mile-per-hour wind blowing in, Montgomery could make for a sneaky upside play.
