As has been the case in Chicago lately, we could have another windy one at Wrigley tonight. There's a chance of rain, so keep an eye on the forecast, but with Ty Blach and his 5.63 SIERA on the mound for the San Francisco Giants, this will be a prime spot to stack the Chicago Cubs.
Other juicy hitting matchups to check out are the Arizona Diamondbacks (vs. Miguel Gonzalez) and Baltimore Orioles (vs. Kyle Gibson), which both have implied team totals hovering above 5.
Pitching-wise, the choice boils down to Zack Greinke ($10,300), Gerrit Cole ($9,800), and Michael Pineda ($8,700). Pineda has both the lowest salary and implied team total of the three, but given his history it's always difficult to fully trust him.
J.C. Ramirez ($7,200) could also be worth a look in tournaments against the Tampa Bay Rays (26.6% strikeout rate vs. righties), but he's only had eight punchouts across his last three starts.
Who should we avoid in our lineups tonight? Let's take a look at four who fit (don't fit?) the bill.
